Keynote Speaker Dr. George N. Prezerakos University of Attica Dr. George N. Prezerakos was born in Athens, Greece in 1970. He holds an M.Sc. (1993) from the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering of the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA) and a Ph.D. in Software Engineering (1998) from the same school. Between 2002 and 2002 he was with Ericsson Hellas S.A. as a software engineer for Mobile Internet. In 2002, he joined the Hellenic Telecommunications and Post Commission. In 2004, he became an Assistant Professor of Software Engineering in the Electronic Computer Systems Department of the Technical Education Institute of Piraeus. Currently, he is a Professor in the Department of Informatics and Computer Engineering at the University of West Attica. His research interests include Service Engineering, the Internet of Things (IoT) and the regulatory framework and the protection of privacy in electronic communications. Dr. Prezerakos has several papers in conferences and journals in the above areas.
