Junior Faculty Workshop

Invitation

Junior Faculty Workshop is organized in collaboration with the Turkey Chapter of AIS, TRAIS.

We invite all MIS Junior Faculty to apply to participate in the Junior Faculty Workshop. This should take place on Tuesday, October 16, 2018 from 08:30-11:45 at Ankara Yıldırım Beyazıt University, Esanboğa Campus. The Junior Faculty Workshop consists of speeches and interactive sessions built around issues related to becoming a successful member of the academia. MIS senior faculty from universities around Turkey will lead sessions. Each participant will have the opportunity to interact with senior faculty and to share their experiences, thoughts, and concerns about developing a career in the academy.

Registration

 

Only faculty with PhD degree or who has passed qualifying exam, working as assistant professor, instructor or research assistant in universities can attend the workshop.

Registration to Junior Faculty Workshop requires registration for the IMISC 2018.

AIS and TRAIS memberships are also required. AIS is the biggest umbrella organization in information systems area in the world and AIS membership provides many advantages. More information about benefits of AIS membership can be found at http://aisnet.org/?MembershipBenefits. TRAIS is Turkish Chapter of AIS and aims to serve to needs of MIS community in Turkey. The number of participants is limited to 60 in order to maintain the richness and intimacy of the experience.

Registrations will be accepted until October 1 or until the participation limit has been reached, whichever occurs first. Applications will be processed in the order received.
